Backtagging: I'll backtag pretty much forever - if you ever need to handwave the end of a thread just let me know! Threadhopping: I love it; so long as everyone else in the thread is okay with it. Fourth-walling: I'm totally fine with general stuff like knowing what Jedi are - but I'd rather not have him fourth-walled specifically unless you really think your character would know Rebels canon.

Hugging this character: Go for it, though he might be weirded out if he doesn't know you well. Kissing this character: He's generally not interested in kissing people who aren't Hera, but if you want to try for the lulz, go for it! Flirting with this character: He might flirt back, but not in any serious way. Fighting with this character: Sure! Kanan's a Jedi with a fair amount of combat experience with both blasters (guns) and lightsabers (swords). He's also got some Force abilities that give him an edge. Let's do it! Injuring this character: I'm generally fine with it, let's plan it out! Killing this character: In certain circumstances I may be willing to do this - let's plan it. Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Being a Force user, Kanan can be tough to read - he knows how to resist that kind of thing. But let's talk about it. Abilities: Jedi Mind Trick: Kanan can influence people to do what he wants them to do - i.e. "open that cell door and let the prisoners out". He doesn't use this willy-nilly, and I will never have him use it without obtaining permission first, but it is a thing he is capable of. If you don't ever want him to use it on your character for whatever reason, just let me know. Empathy: Kanan also has the ability to sense other people's feelings, especially when they're particularly strong, as in, someone near him feels terrified, or frustrated, or whatever. It's not a detailed sort of mind-reading per se - he won't know exactly what someone is thinking, just get a sense of their emotions and be able to infer from there. Let me know if you do NOT want Kanan to be able to sense these things from your character (or if your character has some ability that would prevent him from doing this).
