[ Scared, maybe. Absolutely mortified was more apt where she huddled under her blankets holding her device like it was a lifeline. ]

When our, hmm, mutual acquaintance woke up and didn't tell his....student, friend? I thought he would and while I was downstairs I think they had some kind of big fight. One minute I'm telling them to stay put and the next I see his friend run out.

This is my fault. I know you don't like him, but I really screwed this up.

You didn't screw anything up, Chise. Most people are pretty bad with emotions. ...and I think Thrawn is worse than most. Trust me on this one - if they had a big argument, it's because there are some issues there that already existed before you showed up.

When you warned me to stay away from him I doubt you thought I'd stumble over his personal problems.

No, that was definitely not my first kiss.

...I'm sorry I intruded on it. Someone's first kiss should be private. And hopefully less awkward but that doesn't always happen.

Me and Hera's first kiss was kinda weird but good. Hopefully the next time you kiss someone, it's because you really like them.
